Now is the time when people begin to gather and reflect on the wonderful memories of the year. This month also marks the much-anticipated worldwide celebration of Germany's largest beer festival, Oktoberfest. Alabang West Parade is joining in the festivities with its own rendition, featuring veteran Filipino bands at Tunes on Tap.
The popular acoustic band MYMP and the veteran pop-rock band Neocolours will perform at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ southern destination, where crowds will gather for the beer-filled celebration known as Ale Adventure.
Neocolours is renowned for their iconic songs “Kasalanan Ko Ba,” “Tuloy Pa Rin,” and “Maybe,” which have become karaoke favorites among Filipinos. With a rich history in the music industry, they are celebrated as one of the iconic bands in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and have also collaborated individually with emerging artists of the new generation.
Meanwhile, MYMP, or Make Your Momma Proud, is a popular acoustic band from the mid-2000s whose songs resonate with the younger generation, allowing Original Pilipino Music (OPM) to shine alongside international hits. Some of their popular tracks include “A Little Bit,” “Tell Me Where It Hurts,” and “Especially For You.”
