Megaworld Lifestyle Malls has opened its first Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) satellite site in Eastwood City in Quezon City to help facilitate the issuance of International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV), or “yellow cards”, to fully-vaccinated individuals who intend to travel abroad, including departing Overseas Filipino Workers.
Beginning Aug. 27, the pop-up satellite office at the 2nd level of Eastwood Citywalk will accommodate individuals who have confirmed appointments with the Bureau of Quarantine Online Booking System (BOQ OBS).
For those based in Taguig City and nearby cities, a BOQ satellite office is also set to open in Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill in September.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls also plans to open additional sites in its other lifestyle malls including Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig City and Newport Mall in Pasay City to serve more OFWs and outbound travelers.
“We are a proud partner of the Bureau of Quarantine in its efforts in helping more Filipinos, international travelers and OFWs in securing their certificates of vaccinations and we are committed to providing them with utmost comfort and safety by giving them venues and facilities that are not only convenient but also 100% compliant with minimum public health standards,” says Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
Outbound travelers may directly book their appointment at Eastwood City via https://eastwood-icv.boq.ph/. Upon registration, they will be required to provide details indicated on their vaccination cards and passport. They will also be asked to upload a copy of their valid identification card or a certification from the local government unit which administered their vaccines.
A documentary fee of P300 and a convenience fee of P70 shall be paid through different payment channels, including credit/debit card, cash via payment centers, emoney and online banking. Appointment status may then be viewed through the BOQ OBS.
Recognized by the World Health Organization as an official documentation for vaccination, the ICV is considered globally as a travel document and serves as a travel requirement for several host countries.
