Create Your Quarantine Baked Dishes at Home with Ingredients You Can Get at These Stores

Alabang West Parade Arcovia City Eastwood City Lucky Chinatown Uptown Bonifacio

The pandemic paved the way to the rise of online and home-based restaurants, where you can get fresh, hot, and out-of-the-oven baked dishes and ready-to-cook meals delivered straight to your door. Our quarantine food trends have also evolved from the Dalgona coffee to Ube-Cheese Pandesal, and now we have everything baked.

We’ve round up stores where you can get complete ingredients for more alternatives to indulge in aside from the OG sushi bake.

1. Samgyup Bake

We’ve done DIY samgyup party at home complete with the side dishes and all, but why not combine and bake everything in a dishpan? Sodam Korean Grocery has it all for you. From premium beef bulgogi, melty cheese, and flavored nori sheets, plus fresh homemade kimchi, we’re sure you’d want to add a bottle or two of flavored soju to complete the Korean experience. They accept walk-in and online customers through Grab Mart and their Facebook, and you can pay in cash or using GCash.

Sodam Korean Grocery is located in 2F Techno Plaza 2 in Eastwood City and is open daily from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

2. Nacho Bake

A newcomer in the out-of-the-oven baked dishes scene is the cheesy nacho bake or taco bake. Nacho bake isn’t exactly new, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. You stack layers of taco flavored ground beef/pork, vegetables, salsa, and different kinds of cheeses and then bake in the oven until everything is gooey. At Landers Superstore, you can get everything you need including a huge bag tortilla nacho chips and non-stick baking pans by visiting a branch near you or have your orders delivered on a schedule through their website. You can pay via Visa/Mastercard, PayMaya, and even Cash on Delivery.

Landers Superstore has branches in Arcovia City along C5, Pasig City, and Alabang West, along Daang Hari Road, Las Pinas City. They are open daily from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

3. Sushi Bake

How can we forget the OG, which started this trend? Almost all sushi bake ingredients like Kani, salmon, cream cheese, and Japanese mayo are available in in-mall supermarkets in different Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. If you’re feeling extra and want some Ebiko Masago or the teeny tiny orange shrimp roe, you can order half a kilo here.

Robinson’s Supermarket in Eastwood City and Metro Supermarket in Lucky Chinatown are both open daily from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 PM respectively. While The Marketplace in Uptown Mall is open daily from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

If you haven’t got enough of these cheesy gooey goodness? More out-of-the-oven baked dishes you can try and DIY at home are Cheesy Spam Bake, Sisig Rice Bake, and Shawarma Bake.
