In a bid to strengthen Iloilo and Korea’s friendship, Festive Walk Iloilo has launched K-Town Festival, the ultimate Korean destination in the city of love.

K-Town is a first-of-its-kind event in the lifestyle township. It’s an outdoor food celebration that gathers the community to feast on the best of Korean and Ilonggo cuisines. The wide selection of eats is perfect for those who hunt for new flavors to try or those who want to taste their favorites all in one place. Guests can then dine in and enjoy their meals in a beautifully-designed alfresco area.

To make things more exciting, Festive Walk Iloilo is featuring the Ilonggo and Korean cuisines through the K-Town Bingo Card game. Each guest is eligible to claim one bingo card from the Concierge. Guests must then collect the 15 stamps on the bingo card by purchasing any item from each of the participating stores at Festive Walk Parade. Stamps will be given by the cashier at the respective stores upon payment, and once completed, guests will get a chance to win a box of So Nice Soju.

Participating Korean stores included Jip Bab, which offers unlimited Korean barbecue sets; and Iloilo-based Rice and Rolls serves a variety of Kimbap, Sushi, and Bibimbap selections.

Newly-opened Korean restaurants at K-Town include 2D Samgyupsaranghae, which specializes in Korean chicken;  The Best Taste Samgyup (The BTS) sells authentic Korean chicken, samgyupsal, and other Korean favorites; and Cup Bab, a new bibimbap station.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy Ilonggo cuisine. For Kanding Kare-Kare, Patotin, and unlimited pork meals, dine in at Lorenzo’s; and for batchoy and other soup meals, diners can head over to Tebanz. For all-time favorite Pinoy breakfast meals, drop by Sunny Side Up; and for a cozy cafe experience, guests can get a table at Book Latte.

If craving for other international flavors, Bistro Carcosa serves a lineup of pasta dishes, Mexican favorites, Japanese-style chicken, salads, and more. For beverages, there is milk tea shop ShareTea, art bistro Mamusa which serves cocktails, and cozy bar Bottle Ground.

“We look forward to seeing Filipinos, especially Ilonggos, Koreans, and of course other cultures to enjoy the activities and take their loved ones here in K-Town,” said Karmela Jesena, General Manager of Festive Walk Iloilo.

K-Town is also launching events for pets and K-pop music fans. At K-Town Pet Party, guests can dress up their pets in the most stylish Korean-inspired costumes to get amazing prizes. Supporters of K-group and will have a blast in the Purple Promo, where guests who will present a minimum of P3,000 single-receipt purchase from participating stores will win a The Fact BTS Photobook.
