Diners get to enjoy fixed-price menus at participating restaurants at weeklong food festival
Binondo, Manila – Lucky Chinatown, the premier lifestyle destination and gateway to Manila’s Chinatown, hosts the official launch of the Manila Restaurant Week, a weeklong food festival that showcases the rich culinary culture and treasures of the nation’s capital.
Officially kicking off via virtual launch to be held at the Lucky Chinatown Atrium, the gastronomic showcase runs from Sept. 20 to 27 and aims to promote Manila-based local food businesses bounce back from the effects of the pandemic.
Members of the media, celebrities and influencers, along with officials from the city government of Manila went around different participating restaurants to introduce their offerings on different online platforms.
Over 60 food establishments, from well-known global brands to hidden-gem restaurants are expected to participate in the festival, with each will be showcasing their specialties and offering fixed-price menus to diners.
Dining guests can avail prix fixe or fixed-price breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for dine-in, takeout and delivery services at selected food establishments. E-vouchers may also be purchased from third-party partners.

With customer safety in mind, Lucky Chinatown establishments will follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield, temperature check, footwear disinfection and social distancing through floor and table markets.
The Manila Restaurant Week campaign is part of the #ManilaSupportLocalChallenge, which aims to encourage people to eat, shop and patronize local products and businesses. It seeks to support city-based entrepreneurs, particularly local restaurateurs, the city government of Manila and the Philippine local economy at large.
World-renowned singer and artist Lea Salonga has expressed support for the food festival, allowing the city of Manila to use her latest song, “Dream Again,” for the event.
With over 22,000 restaurants, Manila is known as a food hub for tourists and locals alike. It boasts of a plethora of restaurants that offer international and local cuisine, from branches of popular restaurant chains to hole-in-the-wall cafes that serve a taste of Philippine heritage.
