McKinley Hill Grand Christmas Parade Fills the Streets with Joy and Wonder Once Again

Giant character balloons and floats, mascots, colourful marching bands, street dancers, musical performances and surprise appearances by celebrity guests highlight PH’s grandest Christmas Parade


McKinley Hill, Taguig City - Chin up and look up! Get ready to be amazed once more as McKinley Hill brings back its annual holiday tradition, the Grand Christmas Parade, this December 7. 


Inspired by the world-famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, McKinley Hill is spreading cheers and bringing the yuletide spirit to its streets with 15 colourful gigantic balloons and floats, over 50 famous mascots, and 800 wonderful performers.

15 Majestic Floats

Magnificent floats are among the must-see attractions in this parade. Each has its own intricate design to captivate parade onlookers as they make their way through the streets of McKinley Hill. Parade watchers can look out for the classic Christmas Train, Winter Wonderland and Santa House with Chimney floats, the Asiatown Float and the Venetian-inspired Rialto Bridge Float, and the much-awaited OPM float which will have a special live performer on board.


25-ft Giant Balloons

This grand parade would never be complete without its enormous 25-ft character helium balloons. Measuring over 20 feet, it’s definitely a hard-to-miss spectacle and one will probably be able to spot it from a far. All prepared and ready to amaze spectators, we have our iconic Christmas characters, Gingerbread man, Reindeer, Elf , Fifi the unicorn, Santa Claus, and a new member of the family, Spencer the Dog.


Over 50 Giant Mascots

Over 50 giant mascots will be joining the parade and this includes children’s favorite   characters like Lego, Pinypon, Playmobil, Leapfrog, Sylvanian, Superwings, Tcon, Nobita Noci, Shizuka Minamoto, Takeshi Goda, and more! Doraemon will also be joining the parade this year.


800 Outstanding Performers

To add to this stunning runway of all things amazing, over 800 talented performers will be joining the parade to astound its audience with their unique gifts and skills. Putting exciting music and dance to the mix to uplift people’s energy and spirits are surprise bands and dancers.


More Exciting Attractions

Wrapping up this parade is the Grand Fireworks Display which people can and witness back at Venice Piazza. And to add to the attractions are Christmas Carousels and a 3D Mapping Show Launch at the Venice Piazza as well.


The Parade Route

The highlight of this Christmas parade is a whopping 3.5km route.  Catch the start of the parade at McKinley West, as it heads to Lawton Avenue, Upper McKinley Road, and Venetian Drive. It will go around Venice Grand Canal, then head out through Campus Avenue and back to Upper McKinely Road and Tuscany. The parade will go around and go back to the beginning at Venice Grand Canal for the grand fireworks finale.
