Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) are teaming up to facilitate the issuance of International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for COVID-19 or “yellow cards”, to fully-vaccinated individuals who intend to travel abroad, including departing Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
Under the partnership, BOQ will establish and operate satellite offices in various Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in the National Capital Region. The move is seen to address the increasing number of OFWs, individuals and international travelers who are requesting for ICV as more countries around the world reopen their economies.
These include the new satellite offices in Quezon City located at the 2nd level of Eastwood Citywalk in Eastwood City and in Taguig City situated at the 2nd level of Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill.
Both locations are now operational and accommodating individuals with confirmed appointments from Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls also plans to offer Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig City and Newport City in Pasay City as additional BOQ sites to to serve more OFWs and outbound travelers.
Aside from ICV for COVID-19, the new satellite offices will also provide the following services: yellow fever vaccination, polio vaccination, duplicate and re-issuance of ICV, issuance of ICV for polio and medical exemption certificate.
“We are a proud partner of the Bureau of Quarantine in its efforts in helping more Filipinos, international travelers and OFWs in securing their certificates of vaccinations and we are committed to providing them with utmost comfort and safety by giving them venues and facilities that are not only convenient but also 100% compliant with minimum public health standards,” says Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
To ensure the safety of its clients and employees, the BOQ will not accommodate walk-in clients to ensure the implementation of the minimum public health standards.
OFWS and outbound travelers may directly book their appointment at https://icv.boq.ph. Upon registration, they will be required to provide details indicated on their vaccination cards and passport. They will also be asked to upload a copy of their valid identification card or a certification from the local government unit which administered their vaccines.
A documentary fee of P300 and a convenience fee of P70 shall be paid through different payment channels, including credit/debit card, cash via payment centers, emoney and online banking. Appointment status may then be viewed through the BOQ OBS.
Recognized by the World Health Organization as official documentation for vaccination, the ICV is considered globally as a travel document and serves as a travel requirement for several host countries.
