Siargao’s Famous Shaka Cafe Opens First Branch In Metro Manila

Forbes Town

June 28, 2021

One of Siargao’s favorite food destinations, Shaka Cafe, has officially opened its first branch in Manila in Megaworld’s Forbes Town, serving their signature healthy and creative smoothie bowls in the metro.

Launched last June 7, the sought-after cafe offers healthy food alternatives on its menu. Operating in Siargao, Bohol, and Cebu, they are now delighting guests in Manila with creative and organic smoothie bowls, coffee selections, breakfast meals, sandwiches, and vegetarian drinks.

With its launch, more people can finally get a taste of their bestseller bowl, Bom Dia, which is a combination of fresh mango, pineapple, berries, acai, muesli, and banana. The generous helping is packed with high-energy and immuno-boosting properties, perfect to start mornings with.

Inspired by Siargao’s incredible surfing spot Cloud 9, Shaka Cafe’s Cloud 9 Kook is a must-try. The smoothie bowl is the ultimate energy booster, made from a combination of banana, peanut butter, cacao, and coconut milk. If you’re seeking to get your fill of vegetables, try the Green Out bowl, which is a concoction of nutritious malunggay, cucumber, spirulina, spinach, ginger, pineapple, and mango.

Step inside Shaka’s Cafe at Forbes Town and experience the good vibes and good food of island life. The interior is laidback and easy on the eyes, with white walls and furniture cast in earth tones. The whole space is adorned with plants, with a team of staff that make sure the area is always safe and clean for the guests. For those who are looking to chill and dine alfresco, there is also a dedicated space outside the restaurant with a view of the lush and vibrant community of Forbes Town.

Visit Shaka Cafe at Burgos Circle, Forbes Town. They are open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM for dine-in and take-out.
