Uptown Bonifacio Introduces ‘Scan To Dine’ For Safer Food Ordering

Uptown Bonifacio

April 22, 2021

With the recent IATF resolution banning indoor dining in all malls and restaurants, Uptown Bonifacio is introducing a new and safer way for diners to enjoy their Food Hall favorites.

To further its commitment in providing high-quality customer service for every diner,  Uptown Bonifacio is utilizing its expansive outdoor area in its fourth level called The Deck to give diners more safe and socially-distanced spaces to dine in complete with a fresh outdoor ambiance.

As an added safety precaution and to further limit physical contact when lining up and ordering meals, Uptown Bonifacio is introducing Scan to Dine – a QR-based, centralized menu that is accessible through one simple tap using the diner’s smartphone.

Navigating through Scan and Dine is easy.  Customers just need to use their mobile phone’s camera and scan the QR code placed on top of the dining tables spread across The Deck (4th Level) of Uptown Mall.

Upon scanning, a link will pop on the screen, which leads to the lineup of restaurants. Customers can now pick the restaurant of their choice and place their orders.

After placing their orders, customers can choose their preferred payment option, enter their table number, and wait for their food to arrive. They also have the option to pay in cash after placing or upon the arrival of their order.

Dining guests can choose from a mouthwatering array of dishes from Uptown Food Hall mainstays including BKK Express, Coco Ichibanya, Pepper Lunch, and Binondo Wok; as well as snack shops Kraken Takoyaki, Potato Corner, Nacho Bimby, and Jamaican Pattie.

For those looking for healthier meals, there is Banh Mi Kitchen and Go! Salads. Filipino food favorites Little Manila and Steak Station are also in the roster. Meanwhile, those looking for a quick drink can buy from Avocadoria, Chatime, and Kape Sur.

Uptown Bonifacio continues to embrace new ways to adapt to the changing demands of the customers, most especially in the way they purchase essentials through their mobile phones.  Leveraging on the digital capabilities of today, Scan To Dine is a smart and useful way to contribute to maintaining social distancing while the country is still battling with the coronavirus pandemic.
