Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ flagship mall, Uptown Bonifacio, ushers in the most meaningful holiday celebration by lighting up three Christmas trees designed to inspire hope, spread happiness and promote good health.
The Christmas trees, all uniquely designed with sustainability in mind, are the stars of this year’s sustainable Christmas festivities in Uptown Bonifacio as it looks to regale guests and shoppers with dazzling attractions, while filling their celebrations with meaning through various activities for good cause and opportunities to spread cheers to those in need.
Over 2,500 tropical outdoor plants of different varieties make up Uptown Bonifacio’s eco-friendly and nature-inspired Christmas Tree of Happiness. Measuring over 20 feet in height and 11 feet in diameter, this 100%-plant Christmas tree can be found beside the St.Gabriel the Archangel Chapel at The Deck at the fourth level of Uptown Mall. This luscious tree definitely spark joy while dining alfresco and is the perfect spot for outdoor photos.
Pedal-powered lights are the highlight of Uptown Bonifacio’s Christmas Tree of Health located by the fountain area at the ground level of Uptown Mall. Eight conventional bikes that can power portions of the 40 feet Christmas tree are stationed around the unique attraction. Guests are invited to pedal the stationed bikes to illuminate the giant floral decors adorning the tree. This interactive tree promotes the value of good health for both people and the environment.
Uptown Bonifacio is spreading Christmas cheers and inspiring hope with the help of its mall patrons to those in need through its Christmas Tree of Hope. The 40-feet Christmas tree encourages guests to donate to 20 charitable organizations involved in education, community development, health, environment and vulnerable sectors. Guests can visit the tree and gallery at the upper ground floor atrium of Uptown Mall and check out the different foundations they can donate to using QR codes.
Among the charitable foundations guests can donate to include Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, Childhope Asia Philippines, House Foundation, Tuloy Foundation, Caritas Manila, Virlanie Foundation, World Vision Development Foundation, Heart Warriors of the Philippines, Leukemic Indigents Fund Endowment (LIFE), Philippine Foundation for Breast Care, Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Haribon Foundation, WWF Philippines, Anawim Lay Missions Foundation, Cartwheel Foundation, CRIBS Foundation, ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya, Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Cottolengo Filipino and Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders.
