Kawaii: A Japanese Festival at Uptown Bonifacio

Japanese Spring is not over yet as Uptown Bonifacio brings you Kawaii: A Japanese Festival at Uptown Mall from September 16-30. Make the most out of your visit with the following schedule of activities:

 

September 16-30

Exquisite flavors of Japan await guests at  Tendon Kohaku, Menya Kokoro, Kraken Takoyaki, CoCo Ichibanya, Marugame Udon and Watami for Tokyo Eats plus get your hands on the best kawaii finds from @Tokyo, Japan Home Center, and Akimbo for Jap Grabs while enjoying Japan’s cherry blossoms, lanterns, and more at Japan Wonders.


September 21-22

Get to know the proper way of wearing a Japanese Yukata and be blown away by the Karate moves of Kyokushin-kan Karate-Phi at Karate 101. You can also explore Japan's tea culture from Urasenke Tanko-kai, pre-register for Way of Tea here. Lastly, learn the art of Japanese Origami through a creative workshop, pre-register here.


September 26-29

Learn the beauty of Ikebana or the Japanese art of flower arrangement with Sogetsu Manila and appreciate said art in an Ikebana Exhibit on the following days for the Art of Ikebana to be hosted by @Tokyo. Wrapping up the festivities is J-Beats, a thrilling performance by Manila Japanese School students on traditional Japanese drums.
